This chemical is an MDA analog, which is created by using a methylene bridge to replace the heterocyclic 4-position oxygen in the 3,4-methylenedioxy ring.
6-APDB has been around since the early 1990s, and was synthesized by David E. Nichols while he was looking into MDMA analogs which are non-neurotoxic.
